Word has come out that Jessica Simpson's wedding to fiancé Eric Johnson is being postponed because she's being too indecisive. The singer/businesswomen/reality TV star and former New Orleans Saints player got engaged last November with a stunning ruby and diamond engagement ring. They both seemed very excited about the upcoming nuptials and spoke about their desire for a grand summer wedding. Summer is almost over though and there's been no peep from either person about what's going on.
According to OK! Magazine, the wedding is definitely still happening; it's just a question of when. "The wedding isn't off," one of her confidantes told the magazine. "It's just on hold while Jessica sorts out some of the details." The details that Jessica just can't make up her mind are "the dress, the location the food, you name it." "The wedding will go from 50 people one day to 300 the next. It's as if she's planning five different weddings at once," said the friend.
All of this indecision sounds harmless enough, but it seems that the indecision regarding the wedding is an indication of her indecision about the man. After all, her wedding to ex Nick Lachey took place a little over eight months after their engagement announcement. Perhaps the engagement to Eric Johnson really was just an emotional reaction to Nick Lachey's engagement to Vanessa Minnillo, who announced their engagement just days before. The pair got married in an intimate wedding at a secluded island a few months ago.
While Jessica Simpson's friends "are worried that she may end up single again if she's not able to make up her mind," it's definitely a good thing that she's taking the time to make sure that it's the sure thing this time around. Even if she does become single again, she'll still be a beautiful girl with a successful business empire, the envy of many girls around the world.
