Reality star turned fashion designer Jessica Simpson has said her wedding will not try and compete with Prince William and Kate Middleton's nuptials as she doesn't think she could 'top' a royal marriage.
Jessica got engaged to former NFL star Eric Johnson in November 2010 and the pair hope to wed by Christmas this year.
But the 30-year-old, who has previously said that her wedding dress would 'out-do' Middleton's gown, has changed her mind about competing with the Duchess of Cambridge. She said: 'I absolutely adore Kate's dress, I thought she looked absolutely beautiful, there's no bride that can top a royal wedding.'Simpson added to Access Hollywood: 'I'm not going to be wearing the same kind of thing, but it will be beautiful in it's own right.'
