Jessica Simpson has eaten her last buttered pop tart, and is ready to start working towards those skinny jeans. Now that the fashion mogul and singing sensation has given birth to a beautiful baby girl, she is ready and determined to win the battle of the bulge.

According to US Weekly, a source said Jessica is determined to show her critics that she can get back into fighting shape after her highly talked about weight gain. “As soon as Jessica heals from the C-section, she is extremely determined to get back in the gym and work out,” said the source.”She wants to show the world and is excited to do it.”

While excited is not the word most of us would use when describing hitting the gym, after all the critiques of her weight gain we understand why she’s so motivated about getting into shape. Although a source close to the Weight Watchers deal, says it’s not going to be an easy feat.

“She’ll have to meet the weight-loss goals for the deal to go through. She hasn’t chosen a trainer yet. In fact, she hasn’t even thought about working out for a year. But if she wants this, she’ll need to work out a good five times a week,” revealed the source. Singer/actress and new mom Jessica Simpson is developing a maternity fashion line that will be released next fall. She gave birth to daughter Maxwell drew on May 1 and is excited to launch her own collection of clothes for pregnant women called Jessica Simpson Maternity.

Simpson, 31, told UsMagazine.com, "I'm so excited to partner with Destination Maternity to design a collection of fashionable styles that make you look and feel great. You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off."

The affordable collection will be sold exclusively at Macy's, Destination Maternity, and Motherhood Maternity and Macy's with prices starting at $36.

Simpson was very fashionable during her pregnancy, opting for leopard-print dresses and vowing to wear four-inch heels while giving birth. Fashion seems to be in her blood. She tweeted on Saturday, "I'm addicted to buying headbands w massive flowers for Maxwell on etsy! She is insanely beautiful I can't help but play dress up!"

The singer/fashion designer welcomed her first child, daughter Maxwell Drew, with fiance Eric Johnson on May 1 and she's already getting into mommy fashion, releasing her own collection of clothes for pregnant women called Jessica Simpson Maternity. The range will be sold exclusively at Destination Maternity, Motherhood Maternity and Macy's this autumn.

Sunday might be all about the mothers, but new mom Jessica Simpson is celebrating her first Mother's Day gushing about baby Maxwell Drew, who she gave birth to just two weeks ago. Jessica calls her newborn "insanely beautiful" and is already sharing her love of fashion with the little one.

"I'm addicted to buying headbands w massive flowers for Maxwell on etsy!" she says via Twitter. "She is insanely beautiful I can't help but play dress up!"One of the Fashion Star's friends tells People magazine, "The baby is wearing different outfits every second"; and that Maxwell has "a ton" of oneseies.

Sounds like it's going to be a very happy Mother's Day for the star, indeed - I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced," she Tweeted on Wednesday.

Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson have reportedly inked a deal to sell the first photos of the baby to People magazine for a reported $800,000 - a far cry from the $11 million and $6 million that Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez, respectively, raked in for snaps of their tots. Guess with the U.S. economy the way it is the going rate for celebrity baby pictures has hit rock bottom. A couple of weeks ago we learned that Jessica Simpson finally gave birth to her first baby … a girl she named Maxwell Drew. Altho Jess has tweeted some about baby Max, we haven’t seen hide nor hair of the wee darling … and now we know why. While some celebs (notably Hilary Duff and Beyoncé) have decided to share the first photos of their babies themselves (for free), Jessica has decided to cash in on the first photos of her baby girl. Apparently, Jessica sold the first photos of Maxwell Drew to US Weekly magazine for a cool $800,000. Ker-ching!

Did the anticipation for Jessica Simpson’s baby, following a marathon pregnancy, create a bidding war for her new baby pictures? Not really. Several sources told WWD that People magazine will pay the former pop star about $800,000 to run exclusive photos … Simpson’s deal with People isn’t too significant, at least compared to celebrities such as Matthew McConaughey, who sold photos of his newborn son to OK magazine for $3 million, according to reports. When Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins, she pocketed $6 million from People and, although it’s probably unfair to compare, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt famously received around $11 million for the exclusive on their twins.

Honestly, I am not blaming Jessica for selling the photos. I don’t know that I would turn down $800K for photos of anything (I’m serious, make me an offer) so I can’t fault Jess for doing so. While celebs like Hilary, Beyoncé and Bruce Willis are happy to give away the first photos of their children, other celebs are even happier to cash in. People magazine is usually pretty good about getting these first baby photos to press very quickly so I suspect we’ll be getting our first look at Maxwell Drew very soon. For $800K, I hope she’s worth the wait.

Jessica Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson sold their first pictures of baby Maxwell Drew Johnson, who was born May 1, to People magazine for $800,000, Daily Mail reports. We’re sure she is as beautiful as her mother.

First pics of little Maxwell didn’t garner as much cash as Jennifer Lopez or Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s first baby photos did. People magazine paid J. Lo and then husband, Marc Anthony, $6 million for pictures of their twins, Emme and Maximilian, who are now four. Brad and Angelina raked in $11 million for pics of their twins, Vivienne and Knox, who are now three.

Jessica may capitalize further on her pregnancy, as there are also unconfirmed reports that she is signing a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers, according to Daily Mail. That will certainly help motivate her to take off all the baby weight.

Jessica Simpson gave birth to her darling daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson, just 10 days ago but she seems to be doing amazingly well. We haven’t yet been lucky enough to get a pic of the blessed baby, who no doubt is a total cutie, but today we heard from the new mom herself, who tweeted to her fans how she is feeling in the first few weeks of motherhood.

Jess went to Twitter this week to tell the world how happy she is to be experiencing mommy land, and it is quite clear in her comment that the whole experience is incredible and very emotionally charged for her. “I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I’ve ever experienced.”

How adorable is that? I am sure Jess is doing extremely well and just relishing in the fact that she is a mother. I think Jessica was made to be a mother. We have also learned this week where the beautiful bub’s name comes from. Jess revealed that Maxwell is her fiancé’ Eric Johnson’s middle name, and Drew is her mother Tina’s maiden name. The name has a lot of significance then to both the Simpson and the Johnson family, and I am pretty certain that this little princess is hugely significant right now in both families. I cannot wait for a first pic of the little baby girl!!!

Jessica Simpson wants a 'bohemian' nursery for her newborn baby. The 31-year-old singer and actress gave birth to a daughter named Maxwell Drew last week and apparently she and her sportsman fiancé Eric Johnson are planning a 'Gypsy' theme for their child's bedroom.

Rachel Ashwell of Shabby Chic Couture told People: 'Jessica is very pretty and feminine, but she didn't want this to be over-the-top frilly. The words she used were 'gypsy' and 'bohemian,' so we brought in lavenders and mauves with a bit of pink and aqua.'Apparently the space features vintage butterfly wallpaper and luxe furniture from the designer's boutiques.

She claimed to look in flea markets to find antique pieces that she converted into shelving units and a custom changing table, which she made by screwing a changing table top to a dresser.

She continued about the new parents: They were probably the most un-neurotic people I've ever known. Jessica wanted the nursery be cosy and cute, and she was very respectful of Eric, asking, 'Do you like this?' And he was nicely opinionated.'

Rachel added: 'I found being around them very inspiring to think, 'Wow, this is a real collaborative vision. I even wrote them a little note saying, 'It's been such a privilege to be part of making your home for you, because I know it's going to be a house of substance.''

Maxwell is Simpson's fiance's middle name and Drew is her mother's maiden name, according to an Us Weekly magazine report. They're both idiots. Kanye West is an idiot with talent. Kim Kardashian is an idiot with good looks. I don't think much of their relationship. West, from what I can tell, likes women who are stacked and speak with ittle, wittle baby voices. Kardashian seems to prefer men who are selfish and silly. They make sense on the surface, but not in the long run.

For Kim's sake, I hope this "relationship" lasts longer than her marriage to Kris Humphries. For Pinky's sake, let's hope it fails before someone starts calling them Kwest or Kimye.
