Jessica Simpson is used to traveling in style – five-star hotels and restaurants, entourage in tow – but last week she experienced something brand new, by roughing it Uganda.
There, along with her BFFs Ken Paves and Cacee Cobb, she went to film the latest installment of her upcoming docu-series, The Price of Beauty, set to air sometime next year.
Posting a picture of herself looking forlorn as she peeked out from the giant mosquito net surrounding her bed, Simpson Tweeted on Sept. 23, "WTF?!? Do I really have to sleep like this?"
Only minutes earlier, Paves posted a shot of a gigantic spider and joked in a message to Simpson and Cobb, "Is this the Price of Beauty? Don't let the bed bugs bite!"
A source close to Simpson told PEOPLE.com, "The accommodations were certainly interesting, but Jessica enjoyed being a part of a totally different culture." Indeed, the following day, Simpson Tweeted, "LOVED my first day in Uganda meeting incredible women filled with spirit.

Just days after Jessica Simpson's poor little doggie, Daisy, was snatched by a coyote earlier this month, fellow dog lover Martha Stewart chastised her. “(Jessica) should’ve been more careful,” Martha told Us Weekly magazine. “She should have watched it more closely.”
Jessica Simpson has called off the search for her dog Daisy, after a coyote snatched the multi-poo from her Los Angeles home earlier this week.
Earlier this week, Jessica Simpson announced that her Maltipoo “Daisy” had been carried off by coyotes and that she was reaching out via Twitter to help locate the dog. Now, after a bunch of backhanded sympathy (mixed with a healthy dose of mockery), Jessica is defending her decision to keep hope alive—despite the advice of Martha Stewart.
I feel Jessica Simpson's pain, I really do. I have a cutie-pie dog named Daisy. And Jessica?
Jessica Simpson has told of her “horror” after a coyote snatched her beloved pet dog, Daisy. The singer and actress has said on her Twitter page that she was heartbroken after witnessing the incident, adding that a reward is available to anyone who can help return her pet.
Even though pop singer Jessica Simpson is yet to find Mr. Perfect, she is desperate to mother a baby. Her secret ambition was disclosed by the younger sister, Ashlee Simpson, who is the mother of 10-month-old Bronx Mowgli.
