Meditating with friends and rehearsing for a runway walk aren't the only things Jessica Simpson did for "The Prize of Beauty". Us Magazine reported that in the first two episodes of the new reality series, the 29-year-old songstress will also be seen sampling fried cockroaches because they contain hair-strengthening amino acids. The Daisy Duke of "The Dukes of Hazzard" gets to taste the unique cuisine when staying in Thailand. Aside from learning cultural flavor and quirky customs of different countries, she also interviews locals who went to dangerous extremes only to be beautiful. She will be seen meeting local singer who permanently damaged her appearance in her effort to lighten her skin.

Jessica Simpson serves as host and executive producer of "The Price of Beauty", which will be debuted on VH1 at 10 P.M. on March 15. For the show, she embarks on a worldwide tour, where she travels to Thailand, France, Mumbai, Uganda, Morocco, Japan and Brazil before heading back home to the United States, to discover to what constitutes beauty around the globe. While promoting the show on a Television Critics Association panel in Pasadena, California, the former girlfriend of NFL star Tony Romo said that the experience she got during the filming has changed her completely. She added, "I haven't always had an inner confidence and I haven't always looked at my reflection and loved it."

After Jessica Simpson stepped out to Jane's House with hunky up-and-coming actor Evan Hart Friday night, mags and blogs quickly linked the photogenic twosome together. "Jessica was totally flirting with this good-looking guy...and they were laughing and talking nonstop in the upstairs outdoor area," says Star. And Radar claims that her chivalrous new man defended her from a tipsy dude who tried dirty dancing with her. Sounds like Ms. Sexual Napalm is in demand...except for the fact that Evan has a girlfriend who happened to be there as well! So was she jealous of Jess' supposed flirtations?

No way. It turns out Jessica is actually one of her besties. "Evan's girlfriend is one of Jessica's best friends and is also her makeup artist," his rep tells E! News. "They were all out together."So it seems our dear Jess is still on the market, as of now. Who would you like to see her actually date?

After the death of her pet pooch, Daisy, five months ago, Jessica Simpson  is ready to get another companion.
"I'm thinking about getting a pet pig," she wrote on Twitter Monday. "Does this mean I'll have to give up pork?"
The 29-year-old singer has been trying to get over the bizarre and tragic death of Daisy (a gift from ex-husband Nick Lachey), who was snatched from her L.A. backyard by a wild coyote in September.\

"I haven't really thought about another dog yet, but maybe sometime," Simpson told UsMagazine.com a month after the incident. "Daisy meant the world to me."But not everyone is thrilled that Simpson wants a barnyard baby. The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) sounded off on the singer, telling the mag, "Pigs, who are smarter than dogs and every bit as sensitive to pain and stress, don't belong in Jessica's stomach or carted around as her latest accessory.

Jessica Simpson is gearing up for an appearance on Oprah  so that she can promote her new VH1 show The Price of Beauty. But word on the street is that Jess will be discussing a whole other topic as well.

MSNBC’s The Scoop claims Jessica will discuss John Mayer’s recent interview with Playboy, in which he referred to her as “sexual napalm.”

Her rep says the initial reason for the visit to Harpo studios is for the show, but that she’s not ruling out John talk.

An insider said, “Knowing Oprah, I’m sure she’ll ask Jessica her thoughts about John or her response to him. It’s up to Jessica how she’ll respond. She’s remaining tight-lipped on it at the moment.”

Jessica is set to tape the show this Wednesday, February 24th, so we’ll have to see! We’d love if she took a little sweet revenge…John definitely deserves it!

The star visited Hollywood nightspot Jane’s House over the weekend, and spent much of the evening ensconced in the VIP section with her publicist and several pals. Jessica reportedly turned heads from the minute she entered the establishment, as she was in a figure-hugging outfit which showed off her toned physique.

“She looked really hot,” a source told RadarOnline. “Every guy in the place was staring at her from the moment she walked in. She had this sexy gold leather jacket on and looked absolutely amazing.”

Jessica spent much of the evening sipping champagne and flirting with one of the men in her group. She took to the dance floor when Rihanna’s Umbrella began blasting out, much to the excitement of the other partygoers.

“She was really sexy, she’s a great dancer, she really knows how to move her body,” the source explained. “A passing group of fraternity-type guys strolled by and started ogling the show.”

One of the men reportedly tried to get up close and personal with Jessica, resulting in one of her pals telling him to back off. The two men started arguing, with a security guard eventually stepping in to soothe the situation.

After John Mayer humiliated former girlfriend Jessica Simpson by referring to their love life in Playboy magazine as being like “sexual napalm,” the one man who’s always been there for her — dad Joe Simpson — reportedly gave him a talking-to.

“Joe took it upon himself to call John up directly for a ‘man to man’ discussion,” a source told OK! magazine. “Joe didn’t tell Jessica ahead of time because he knew she’d object.” (There was no comment on this alleged conversation from either Simpson or her ex.) “The conversation was pretty one-sided,” the insider said. “Joe told John that he’d best not even think of uttering Jessica’s name again.

Enjoying a relaxing dinner outing,  Jessica Simpson was spotted at Boa Steakhouse in Los Angeles, CA on Friday night. The “Angels” singer was joined by her good pal and hair stylist, Ken Paves, as the two of them made there way through the paparazzi frenzy to get to the waiting car.

In other news, Ms Simpson has made plans to expand her fashion and accessories line into the world of watches. According to Fox News, the line will consist of affordable fashion watches that range in price from $60-$250 and will include everything from the classic menswear look to glitzy jewelry inspired timepieces.

Jessica Simpson is very disgusted with John Mayer’s comments on her in the Playboy interview. And she is so irritated that she has already planned to take revenge on the American musician. She is very shocked at John’s behavior and now regrets for her relationship with him in the past.

He also commented on Jennifer Aniston who has shown a ‘don’t care’ approach towards the comments. Hmm…it seems Jennifer knows the man better! Foxnews.com  reveals that Simpson has recently signed a contract with famed jeweler Pascal Mouawad to begin creating the new line for her label, the Jessica Simpson Collection.

The line will consist of affordable fashion watches that range in price from $60-$250. It will include everything from the classic menswear look to glitzy jewelry inspired timepieces. Simpson’s new line will be available at high end department stores, online shops, and on her own, Jessica Simpson Online Simpson’s wildly popular shoe line has been having more and more success since its initial launch in 2006. JessicaSimpsonWeb.com reported a Google Trends study which revealed that while searches for Jessica Simpson herself have gone down, searches for Jessica Simpson’s shoes have continued to skyrocket, thus proving that Jessica’s shoes have staying power, even if she doesn’t. With her new watch line to debut later this year, Simpson and investors are hoping that the collection will have similar success. Though, as the saying goes, only time will tell.

American singer-actress Jessica Simpson is expanding her business empire by designing a new collection of watches. The singer already boasts her own jewellery line as part of her Jessica Simpson Collection, which also includes shoes, handbags, luggage, clothing and eyewear and now she`s adding to her fashion empire with a range of timepieces, reports contactmusic.

"Creating and inspiring the collection is very near to my heart - my mom and I work on this collectively and it is a passion for both of us. It is a joy to be able to create a line that is affordable and fashionable. And collecting watches, both vintage and new, has been a hobby of mine for some time so adding watches to the collection was a natural extension," she said. The watches will range from $60 to $250 in price and are due to launch later this year.
