Jessica Simpson's father/manager Joe Simpson was in Miami for the Super Bowl this weekend, where he crashed a party hosted by his ex-son-in-law Nick Lachey. Joe strolled into the event at a Miami Beach hotel, telling party goers "Nick doesn't know I'm here!

Jessica and Nick were married for over three years before their divorce in June of 2006. Joe is rumored to be one of the reasons Lachey left.Nick and Joe were both staying at the Eden Roc hotel this weekend. Nick was running late for the party and hadn't arrived when Joe slipped in unnoticed.When he learned that Simpson was there, Nick said, "I haven't talked to Joe in years. So be it."

Jessica Simpson  may have split from Billy Corgan, but the pair have recorded a new song together that fans will be able to hear soon. The recently made track will be used as a theme tune for Jessica's forthcoming VH1 show 'The Price of Beauty', which will air on March 15.

An insider for the reality show told Life & Style: "Billy plays guitar, and Jessica's written and performed the lyrics. It's cute that they came up with the idea together."Talking about the documentary, Simpson revealed that she almost puked on the catwalk of a fashion show.

They may not have made as a couple, but  Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan are still making music together. Apparently, a VH1 insider told Life&Style magazine that the Smashing Pumpkins stud is recording the theme song for Jess’s new reality show, “The Price of Beauty.”

“Billy plays guitar, and Jessica’s written and performed the lyrics. It’s cute that they came up with the idea together,” says the insider. Viewers can listen for themselves when the series, which examines perceptions of attractiveness across cultures, premieres on March 15 at 10 p.m. on VH1.

After Smashing Pumpkins rocker Billy Corgan tossed Jessica Simpson by the wayside due to her very public life, she has reportedly rebounded with “Friday Night Lights” star, Taylor Kitsch. The duo met at a party at Jessica’s place when BFF CaCee Cobb’s boyfriend Donald Faison brought him along for the festivities.

A source said, “Jessica had a bunch of people over for pizza and beer, and Donald brought his pal Taylor. They ended up talking all night and it’s gone from there. He’s very sweet and constantly tells Jessica she’s gorgeous. Getting all this attention from such a hot guy is doing wonders for her ego! Everyone hopes it works out.”
